Fabulous little converted outhouse, perfectly situated for trips around Tuscany. Villa was excellently equipped with everything one would need to self-cater, including a BBQ. Excellent views from the front terrace and also a small lawn with deckchairs, all very private from the owner's house behind. Very clean, with fresh bed linen and towels delivered part way through our holiday. Great communication with the villa owner, initially on meeting outside their deli in Radda and subsequently through whatsapp messages. Villa also had cleaning products, tea towels, toilet rolls and a few kitchen essentials which was extremely helpful. Town is walkable in around 10 minutes. Would highly recommend.

In town visited Pizza Pie and La Perla (used the 50% discount through the Fork) Osteria La Vin' (5 minutes drive, superb home-cooking) Castellina - Taverna Squarcialupi and I Grani Di Squarcialupi Drove to Siena, parking beside Stadium Florence - park in Parcheggio Costanza and take train in San Giminiano worth a visit

Sehr schönes Haus in einer Top Lage auf einer Anhöhe mit super Blick ins Tal und auf die Weinberge.
Bequeme Betten, gut eingerichtete Küche mit Mikrowelle und Kaffeemaschine, Waschmaschine, schöne Terrasse.
Großzügige Poolanlage, die wir für uns allein nutzen konnten.
Sehr netter Empfang und Kontakt zu den Hauseigentümern.

Schöne Altstadt mit kleineren Geschäften und Lokalen. Bottega, Macelleria, Enoteca & Wine Bar geführt von der Famiglia Porciatti (Familie der Gastgeber) Pizza Pie ist sehr zu empfehlen, gutes Essen und Preis/Leistung Verhältnis, zusätzlich sehr nettes Personal. La Bottega di Giovannino empfehlenswert für Fleischgerichte.

Die liebe Familie Porciatti hat uns mal wieder eine wunderbare Ferienunterkunft beschert. Simonetta Porciatti ist eine herzensgute Person und hilft in allen Lebenslagen (Erkrankung während unseres Aufenthaltes). Sie ist immer ansprechbar und hilfsbereit. Wir sind nun bereits schon das vierte Mal bei den Porciattis, und jedes Mal ist es noch schöner als das letzte Mal.
Wir haben das Ferienhaus und den Pool genossen. Der Blick in die Landschaft, die himmlische Ruhe und der immer währende Wind, der für Abkühlung sorgte, haben uns einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt beschert.
Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das Lebensmittelgeschäft der Familie Porciatti. Hier gibt es fast alles und zu erschwinglichen Preisen bei sehr freundlicher Bedienung.

Der freundliche Empfang und das phantastische Haus in herrlicher Lage hat uns sofort überzeugt.
Wir haben uns rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt und es fehlt im Haus an Nichts. Wir werden ganz bestimmt wiederkommen. Ein wundervoller Ort um die Landschaft zu genießen und zu entspannen.

Prachtige ligging langs wijnranken en olijfbomen, als ook op loopafstand van Radda Zeer gastvrije en hulpvaardige eigenaars

Prachtige wandelingen via Komoot, Seinna, Lucia, San Gimignano, Lucca, Volterra en Arezzo.

Sehr schnes Ferienhaus mit umfassender Ausstattung in toller Lage (Herrliche Terrasse mit grandiosem Blick in die Landschaft) besonders hervorzuheben ist die überaus herzliche Aufnahzme durch die Familie Porciatti, vor allem durch Simonetta Porciatti.

Neben Radda mit Volpaia ist Siena, ferner Greve, Lecchi, aber auch Badia a Coltibuono ein lohnenswertes Ziel.Wir besuchten aber auch Pisa, Lucca , Monteriggioni, Colle di Val d'Elsa und San Gimignano .Restaurants: Volpaia mit 3 Restaurants, Malborghini in Lecchi Und La Torre in Castellina. Sehr gut: Leopoldo in Radda

Family Porciatti provided a warm welcome and help during our 2 weeks holiday. ‘Casanova’ – what a little gem in a beautiful setting with lovely vistas to enjoy each day. The villa is within easy walking distance the centre of Radda. It is well equipped and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay. Super pool! The Porciatti family deli in Radda is an absolute delight to shop in, giving us quality produce which we savoured each day. A memorable meal at the Porciatti wine bar in Radda rounded off a lovely stay. We highly recommend ‘Casanova’. David & Galina, Leire, UK.

The wine bar 'Enoteca Casa Porciatti' in the centre of Radda is a superb place to eat - delicious food and an immense range of wines.

Das La Casanova ist ein kleines Schmuckstück. Wir waren schon das zweite Mal hier und wieder begeistert. Die Lage, die Einrichtung, der Pool, die Aussicht - einfach traumhaft. Und die Gastgeber Simonetta und Luciano sind liebevolle Gastgeber, die alles daran setzen, dass man einen perfekten Aufenthalt hat. Einziger Minuspunkt - hat aber nichts mit dem Haus zu tun, sondern mit der Toscana - die vielen Stechmücken und Bremsen, die einem das Leben draussen etwas schwer machen.

Unbedingt in der Casa Porciatti einkaufen gehen und daheim mal selber kochen/grillieren. Und für Weinliebhaber in der Enoteca Porciatti eine Weindegu machen.

Place is great. House is typical for tuscany with old style interior but very clean and nice. Pool is fantastic 10/5 meters, pretty deep great for swimming. Owners family uses is on Sunday afternoon and sometimes during the day but this is not painful.
It is really close to Radda and it's very nice restaurants/great pizza place. Owners have a store in the city nicely supplied. Coop is also in the town.

Small minuses: we were there whe temperature was 37/38/39 everyday and 20 in the night. Due to lack of air condition nights were tough.
Also there were many gadflies at the pool/tarrace, that has bitten us which was annoying and painful.

Das la Casanova ist nur zu empfehlen. Man ist total für sich und kann am und im privaten Pool total entspannen.

Radda liegt so günstig das man sehr gut Stadtbesichtigungen nach Siena, Florenz etc. machen kann. Zu empfehlen wäre für mich ganz klar Casteliogne de Lago als Stadtbesichtigung. Wunderschöne Stadt Ganz klar Pizza Pie. Beste Pizza und super Preise nur zu empfehlen

Ruhige Lage mit Blick ins grüne.
Das Städtchen Radda ist zu Fuss gut erreichbar.
Super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung.

Es gibt diverse schöne Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten in und der weiteren Umgebung. In Radda hat es diverse Restaurants die eine vorzügliche Küche bieten.

We had a lovely stay at the house. The owners where very kind and helped us settle in. We forgot that when we made the reservation our son still slept in a baby bed. In the meantime he upgraded to a normal bed. It was no problem to change that out after trying it out for a night.

The house has all the things you'd want for a comfortable stay. Spacious bathroom, spacious bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and wifi to plan your next trips :-)

Because of the weather we didn't use the pool but it looked beautiful. We can fully recommend staying here because of the location, the house itself and the owners.
